Beth Wonicker-Cook CPA, CNS, LMT, CES
Certified Neurosomatic Specialist #MA95317
NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist #1220912946
After years in the accounting and software business, Beth undertook a radical career change to help people suffering from pain or injuries. As an amateur triathlete and professional desk sitter, Beth has suffered her share of over-use injuries including plantar fasciitis, runner’s knee, Achilles tendonitis and other neck, back, shoulder, wrist and hip pain. Trying the traditional healthcare providers, she was never 100% better. However, over the years she found that the best treatment results came from a combination of manual therapy and corrective exercises.
In 2017 after recovering from a life-threatening traumatic brain injury while training for Ironman Florida, Beth decided to dedicate the rest of her career giving back to her community. Since she observed so many people struggling to get pain relief from traditional healthcare, she researched how to help others get the same type of relief she had experienced.
She ultimately found the answer at the Center for Neurosomatic Studies in Clearwater, Florida. The rigorous 18-month program taught her the in-depth anatomy, physiology and therapeutic techniques needed to embark on her mission which has become the founding of Neurosomatic Specialists, a center for rehabilitation and performance improvement.
