Never being shy of hard work, post-high school Katie studied welding technologies and then worked in both welding and hospitality industries. Later, she was employed as a service technician at a local plumbing company. These years of dynamic working environments gave her a wide range of hands-on and interpersonal skills and an understanding of what it takes to build, maintain, and restore things.
Wanting to put her hands to use in a more meaningful way, helping people get out of pain and regain their spark, led her to the Center for Neurosomatic Studies where she excelled at her studies and was honored to have one of her two robust case reports selected for submission to the National Massage Therapy Foundation’s International Student Research Competition.
Since graduation in February 2023, Katie has been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Neurosomatic Therapist where she thrives on identifying and removing barriers for her patients, aiding their healing journey.
